 iPhone 12 Review :

iPhone 12 comes with a 6.1 inch super retina XDR OLED, HRD 10 display screen. This is an upgrade from LCD panel display that Apple offered on the iPhone 11. I loved the way how the colour contrast appears thanks to this much-needed upgrade. I also really liked the colours that iPhone 12 comes in. You can grab the variant in pale green, black and white, and red. Additionally, it gives a nice premium feel and is made from aluminium and glass. Apple claims that both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are more durable thanks to their ceramic shield present on the display glass.

iPhone 12 comes with a 12 MP, f/1.6, 26mm (wide), 1.4µm, dual pixel PDAF, OIS 12 MP, f/2.4, 120˚, 13mm (ultrawide), 1/3.6″ camera. It supports video recording at 4K @24/30/60fps. As part of our review, I took some outdoor shots with the regular wide-angle and the ultra-wide-angle lenses and I loved the results. The camera was able to capture a significant amount of detail and realistic colour. The 12 MP front-facing camera is also good. Apple has also improved their night mode shots and selfies, which is evident on iPhone 12.

The Dolby Vision HDR video recording capability in 4K, is an experience that impressed me with its ability to beautifully capture spots that are usually hidden due to low light.

What about the battery life of the iPhone 12? The phone comes with Li-Ion 2815 mAh and supports fast charging. I still had 47% battery after using it for more than 11 hours with my screen at 75% brightness and with extensive use on the 5G network.

The A14 Bionic processor ensures that your phone is fast, smooth, and lets you make the most of games with heavy graphics.

The only downside of buying an iPhone 12 that I would want to mention in my iPhone12 review is that the box does not come with a plug. You’ll have to purchase one from an Apple store, subsequently helping Apple to “reduce its carbon imprint”.

 iPhone 12 Pro Review :

As the name suggests, Apple iPhone 12 Pro is an upgraded version of iPhone 12. It comes with a better camera and supporting features along with a body built from steel and not aluminium. It has an extra telephoto lens that gives you impressive results. The lidar sensor assists you with impressive depth giving you remarkable portrait shots where the subject is in focus. It also facilitates augmented reality allowing you to place digital objects on top of actual images. The sensor also helps you with the accurate measurement of something.

Additionally, the wide-angle and the ultra-wide-angle shots also are much better than iPhone 12. A camera feature that I really liked was the iPhone 12 Pro’s telephoto lens and its rich zoom option. The iPhone 12 Pro comes with a much smoother 4K video recording and the screen is brighter than iPhone 12 when you enable HDR.  To conclude my iPhone 12 Pro review, found the battery life of the iPhone 12 Pro very similar to the iPhone 12 Pro, you can thus expect all-day battery life.

Both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro also supports the use of the “MagSafe” magnetic accessory to facilitate wireless charging. This will leave you with your phone charged at twice the speed. Now that we have briefly discussed the features of both the phones, and dived into the details of iPhone12 vs iPhone 12 Pro, so which phone should you buy?

I would suggest that you opt for iPhone 12. With its price and offerings, I would opt for it any given day. It has a wonderful camera, long-lasting battery life, and supports 5G.
